The Duchy of Cornwall was proud to support the mental health hub at the Royal Cornwall Show this year.
The mental health hub, which returned for its second year, helped to shine a light on the support available across Cornwall from a variety of local charities.
The hub provided a welcoming space for anyone looking for support, advice or just a chat, whether for themselves or for others. It also created an opportunity for charities to connect with communities across the county.
This year the hub hosted 8 local mental health charities including: Pentreath, Sunrise Cornwall, Clear Counselling, Georgias Voice, Kooth UK, Active Plus, Man Down and Cornwall Rural Community Charity.
The Duchy has previously engaged with many of these charities and was delighted to see their work on display.

Pentreath launched the mental health hub in 2025, inviting charities across Cornwall to join.
They also won 3rd place in the trade stand competition this year, due to the welcoming, friendly atmosphere that people got when entering the stand.

Katie Mutton, Communication and Engagement Coordinator at Pentreath, says:
‘It is an honour to work alongside the Duchy and be present at the Royal Cornwall Show. The show attracts thousands of people every year and it provides every charity with an opportunity to showcase the support they can deliver. We offer advice, hand out leaflets and talk to the general public and local farming community.
Mental Health affects 1 in 4 people at some point throughout their lives, so the more we can educate people about the subject, we hope that people will be more equipped to know where to get help for themselves or others if ever needed.
To win an award was a welcoming surprise to us all, we were so pleased the hub was seen as a welcoming environment. It was a wonderful show and we now look forward to 2026.’

Despite the weather, the mental health hub was a great success, the Duchy was delighted to support, to emphasise the importance of mental health.
