The Duchy's Isles of Scilly team is continuing its work with Waterhaul to help remove marine waste from local waters and give it a new lease of life.
Together, the partnership has recovered and recycled 2,544kg of fishing nets and ropes across three collections so far, helping to prevent this waste from ending up in our coastal environment.
The recovered material will be transformed into Waterhaul’s Traceable Marine Plastic and used to create products ranging from eyewear to litter-picking equipment.
The Duchy of Cornwall Nursery is delighted to stock Waterhaul’s products in Cornwall.
